Better Version (2018)

Better Version is an immersive projection installation which includes code art, digital light projections and paper-mache sculptures. Combining all elements the piece can be considered a collage work. A randomly generated loop of colorful lines are projected on a sculpture of a female body. Small holes all over this body allow the light to go through it. Another sculpture shows the body parts of the same female body as they become disconnected to one another, in an illusion of a floating, disorganized body or a body which is in a state of transformation. The text projected on the wall provokes a question: “which better version of me should I pretend to be today?”
